The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Department Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our office and provide hands-on assistance to the two founding partners across both professional and personal needs. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position suited to someone highly organised, creative, and proactive – with an ambition to grow in the entertainment PR industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the founders, including diary management, scheduling, inbox management, travel arrangements, and event coordination; with occasional personal tasks
- Manage heavy volume of emails and calls with and liaise confidently with high-profile clients, agents, and industry professionals
- Monitor client coverage and share press cuttings with clients and their wider teams in a timely, organised manner
- Assist with formation of presentations and press kits in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Administrative support across client accounts to include, updating biographies, creating schedules, organising cars in and around events and in person press activity
- Assistant support at key events, with some evening and weekend work required (a TOIL system is in place)
- Involvement in the ever-green calendar of cultural events and Tapestry’s connection to all
- Monitor and help manage Tapestry’s social media channels (primarily Instagram), designing creative and on-brand posts and stories, and growing our digital presence
- Office management to include stocking stationary, monitoring kitchen supplies
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable interest in media, film and entertainment
- A solution-oriented person and strong attention to detail, a creative eye and an ability to think visually and aesthetically
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint – confident in creating slick, dynamic presentations
- An interest in social media, content creation and digital storytelling – particularly for the company Instagram account.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively under pressure
- Strong research and writing skills, with experience in copy-writing or preparing editorial content preferred
- A confident, calm and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with colleagues and clients
- Tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy when handling confidential or high-profile information
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment with a can-do attitude
- Prior administrative essential, with a minimum of one year in an office environment
- Agency experience preferred but not essential but preferred

Hours
Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm. A flexible office/remote working structure is in place. Occasional evening or weekend work is required, with a Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) system to ensure balance.
